When is the Right Time?
BEFORE Damage Happens

What is Ceramic Coating?
Think of ceramic coating like sunscreen for your vehicle. It forms a transparent, durable layer over your paint that protects it from UV rays, dirt, acid rain, bird droppings, and other everyday contaminants. This protective barrier helps your vehicle stay cleaner for longer, makes washing easier, and keeps the paint looking glossy and new. It’s one of the best ways to preserve your vehicle’s finish and protect your investment for years to come.

Everything You Want to know
What actually is ceramic coating?
A liquid polymer that bonds chemically to your paint — not a wax that sits on top. It becomes part of the surface, adding hardness, gloss, and hydrophobic repulsion against water and contaminants.
How long does it last?
Done right, years — not months. The key is proper surface prep. Coating over contaminated or scratched paint locks those defects in permanently, which is why we do paint correction first.
Is it worth it on an older vehicle?
Especially in Hamilton. Salt off the QEW, industrial fallout near Dofasco, freeze-thaw cycles — our winters are brutal on paint. Coating after a proper restoration can bring a vehicle back to better than it's looked in years.
Ceramic coating vs PPF — what's the difference?
PPF is a physical barrier against chips and rock strikes. Ceramic is a chemical hardener that adds gloss and repels contaminants. They work together — and we often recommend both on high-impact areas.
Does it mean I never have to wash my car?
No — but it makes washing faster and safer. Water and contaminants bead off instead of bonding to paint. Maintenance washes take half the time and carry far less risk of scratching.
Will this show on my CARFAX report?
Yes. Every coating we apply is registered through CARFAX to your VIN number — permanent documentation that travels with the vehicle. Future buyers can see exactly what was done and when.
Can I go through an automatic car wash?
Touchless is fine. Brush-style washes create micro-scratches that degrade any finish over time — coated or not. We'll give you a simple maintenance guide when we hand the car back.
Why not just use a store-bought kit?
Application technique and surface prep are everything. A DIY coating on unprepared paint gives unpredictable results and is difficult to remove. Professional application means proper bonding, even coverage, and work you can stand behind.
